Beautiful 1930s Hungarian embroidered blouse. Made of super light weight, semi-sheer cotton voile and heavily hand-embroidered with flowers smocking. Two of the original snaps are on the bottom left hip, along with two newer hook/eye clasps. This blouse is 100% hand sewn, there is no machine stitching. In excellent condition, there is the faintest hint of yellowing under the arms, and two tiny specks, see the last 3 photos.

No tags. This was almost certainly made in Hungary. There is very slight stretch at the cuffs and hem due to the smocking. Please note the very small arm opening at the smocking. Best suited for a small to medium. This style is meant to fit loosely. Do not expect to have more than a quarter inch of stretch in the smocking of the sleeves and waist. Please refer to the measurements listed below, taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate. The measurements are given un-stretched.
